Bluray Tuesday: Featuring The Axe Murders of Villisca, A Cure for Wellness and Child of Satan

June 6th 2017

First Bluray Tuesday of the month has arrived and it brings a nice lineup of releases to add to our collections. Scream Factory releases The Axe Murders of Villisca which is inspired by true events. I will definitely be picking this up. I enjoyed it for what it is and I'm glad it's getting a bluray release and not just a DVD. Child of Satan is next to be hitting shelves and this release looks like another Rosemay's Baby knock off. I feel like we get one or two of these every year but it's super cheap if you choose to blind buy it. A Cure for Wellness is a bigger budget horror thriller of this week. I missed this in theaters and I've been wanting to check it out. Game of Thrones fans can check out Emilia Clarke in mystery thriller Voice From a Stone, which I've never heard of but sounds interesting. Disney nerds like me are in for a few treats this week. Bambi is released from the Disney vault for its anniversary edition and next the the Signature Collection line. Best Buy will carry an exclusive slip cover for this and Target will carry an exclusive storybook edition. 2017's live action remake of Beauty and The Beast starring Emma Watson also hits shelves. Best Buy will carry an exclusive steelbook packaging and Target will have a storybook edition for this as well. So what will you be buying, renting or skipping this week? Let us know in the comments below. Until next week!
