January 5th 2016
Happy New Year everyone! Bluray Tuesday is back and it's a big release day too. For the first Bluray Tuesday of the year we are getting many new horror titles to add to our collections. First up is Eli Roth's The Green Inferno. After several push backs The Green Inferno was finally released in theaters and VOD and I really enjoyed it. M. Night Shyamalan's The Visit is up next. With Shyamalan's track record I personally did not expect much from The Visit but I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, I'd definitely recommend blind buying these two. Also check out our reviews for these posted below each film. Shout Factory / Scream Factory releases a new double feature The House Where Evil Dwells / Ghost Warrior and Japanese Horror Over Your Dead Body both loaded with bonus features. Sicario finally comes out today, I have been hearing lots of great things about it so it'll be a day one pickup for me. Paramount Pictures releases Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. Scouts Guide is up in the air for me, I've heard mixed reviews but look forward to checking this out soon. DEATHGASM (In all caps, lowercase is for pussies) lol. I am really excited to rewatch this! Surprisingly, I liked this one a lot too. I went in with negative thoughts and was blown away. Only at Best Buy is a new exclusive called Kill Game, a new indie slasher horror film. Lots of new titles to choose from to start off 2016, pretty expensive if you are getting them all now. I'm sure some of these should drop in price over the next few week so keep an eye out. What will you be buying, renting or just skipping this week? Let us know
in the comments and don't forget to check out our Instagram page Here. We love to talk about horror and what new films are coming out. If you
have recommendations on what we should review let us know. Until next week.
