Bluray Tuesday: Featuring Species, Pulse and The Fate of The Furious

July 11th 2017

Our favorite day of the week returns! This week brings more indie horror and catalog titles for the first time on Bluray. First up is from Scream Factory, the 90's sci-fi hit Species, with new bonus features. This is another addition to their collector's edition line. I'm glad I held off on this one. I picked up Species 2 last year along with the part 3 and 4 double pack Scream Factory released. I almost got the bare bones edition of the original that was released years ago to complete the series but I'm definitely glad I waited. This edition is perfect to go with the rest of the series. The 2001 Korean version of Pulse hits Bluray this week courtesy of Arrow Video. Pulse is a blind buy for me, the only Pulse film I've seen is the US remake from 2006. Fast and Furious films have been going on forever and part 8 The Fate of The Furious hits shelves today. Fast 8 is the biggest release this week and Fast 9 is in the works as we speak and may take place in space. Best Buy will carry an exclusive steelbook packaging for this exclusively. Target's exclusive will come with bonus content and a Fast 8 cinch bag. The Black Room is another interesting one that arrives on Bluray today. I saw this earlier this year and it's definitely something lol. While I didn't hate it, it is definitely not for everyone.  The Black Room stars Natasha Henstridge who also plays in Species so a Natasha Henstridge double feature may happen this week. So what will you buy, rent or skip this week? Let us know in the comments. Until next week!
