February 13th 2018
It's that time of the week again! There's a nice amount of horror films released today, both new and old, perfect for your horror loving Valentine. The 10th film in the long running Hellraiser series starring one of my favorite scream queens Heather Langenkamp finally releases. Hellraiser: Judgment was pushed back a few times and I don't have high hopes for this one but do want to watch it eventually. Warner Archive releases Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 for the first time on Bluray. We just need Next Generation to hit Bluray and we can own them all in Bluray form. Scream Factory releases one of my favorite Sam Raimi films, Drag Me to Hell. This film comes with a few new bonus features and cool new slipcover art. The long overdue Criterion release of Night of the Living Dead hits shelves today along with The Silence of the Lambs for decent prices this week too. Severin Films releases Eaten Alive for the first time on Bluray as well this week. It came out in the 80's and looks interesting, so I may check it out soon. Takashi Miiki's 100th film Blade of the Immortal hits shelves today and you can own an exclusive steelbook edition only at Best Buy. There is a bit for everybody today and a solid week of collection worthy films. What are you looking forward to buy, rent or skip this week? Let us know we'd love to have a conversation about them. Until next week!
