February 27th 2018
The last Bluray Tuesday of February has arrived. This week is filled with Disney titles as well as horror releases out for the first time on Bluray. There are also several Oscar nominated films on the list. Arrow Video re-releases cult classic film Basket Case in their collector's line with new features to check out. I like this film and am looking forward to this upgrade. The Sect is released for the first time on Bluray this week. I haven't heard of this one but it sounds interesting. Agatha Christie's whodunit thriller Murder on the Orient Express hits shelves today in both Bluray and 4K platforms. I missed this in theaters and it got mixed reviews but this is another one I am interested in checking out. Disney releases two films today: Coco and the next in the collector's signature line, Lady and the Tramp with digital copies released for the first time. Both Disney releases have retailer exclusives. Best Buy will carry a steelbook packaging for both and Target's exclusive is a storybook packaging. Rounding out this week is Prey from Vinegar Syndrome, highly reviewed Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and 78/52 Hitchcock's Shower Scene documentary from Scream Factory. So what will you buy, rent or skip this week? Let us know in the comments. Until next week!
