Bluray Tuesday - Featuring The Boy, Deadpool, and MTV's Scream

May 10th 2016

Our favorite day of the week returns. There are a few cool releases this week to add to our growing collections. Mostly out this week are some interesting foreign horror films, which are out for the first time on bluray. My favorite release this week is this years surprise underrated film The Boy. I am definitely looking forward to owning this film. If you missed it be sure to check out our review on The Boy here. The biggest release this week is Marvel's Deadpool. A few retailer exclusives are released for this title as well. Best Buy will carry an exclusive steelbook packaging, and Target's exclusive comes with postcards and a red bluray case. Ethan Hawke's new thriller with Emma Watson, Regression hits shelves today. Regression has some pretty good acting and twisted story, it's worth a watch. Scream Tv Series Season 1 is finally released, just in time to catch up for its sophomore season only on MTV on May 30th at 10pm. Scream Tv Series was surprisingly really good kept us Overlook creatures guessing the outcome every week. So what will you be buying, renting, or just skipping this week? MTV teams with super-producers Bob and Harvey Weinstein on a TV series adaptation of the hit horror film franchise. Instigated by a cyberbullying incident that goes viral, a brutal murder in Lakewood stirs memories of a crime spree from the town's past that has haunted some, intrigued others and maybe just spawned a new executioner. At the center of the story is a group of teenagers -- with two old friends struggling to reconnect at its heart -- who, says the network, "become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets and victims of a killer who's out for blood."
