Bluray Tuesday!

April 5th 2016

Big release week is upon us! Bluray Tuesday has arrived once more and the highest grossing film in the domestic box office, Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens, can finally be added to our growing collections. There are many retailer exclusives for The Force Awakens; Best Buy will have an exclusive steelbook packaging that will go great with the original 6 steelbooks released last year, Target's exclusive has special packaging and a bonus disc with more new features, and last but not least Walmart will carry an exclusive BB8 slipcover edition that looks pretty cool. This week Shout / Scream Factory releases new horror titles #Horror and The Hallow with a few bonus features. Both are worth a watch before you decide to add to you collections. If you want to see more of Oscar Issac who plays Poe in The Force Awakens, an indie thriller titled Mojave is released today as well and seems like a interesting story. Lastly on the front is Cherry Tree, a modern witch tale that will be a blind buy for me this week. Honorable mentions, both of which are only on DVD unfortunately, are Creep and the long delayed Flight 7500 from Sony Pictures. Creep is one of my favorite found footage horror films to date, I look forward to watching again and checking out the bonus features. Creep is definitely worth the blind buy, even though I was hoping for a Bluray release for this. So what will you be buying, renting, or just skipping this week? Let us know and don't forget to check out our Instagram page Here. We love conversation and talking all things horror.
