March 8th 2016
Our favorite day of the week is back once more. Last week's huge release day was pretty pricey, but this week is very light on the horror so it's nice little break. Shout/Scream Factory releases the Species sequel films for the first time on Bluray, Species 2, 3 and 4: The Awakening. I really liked Species 2 and haven't seen the third and fourth sequels but definitely look forward to checking them out really soon. Victor Frankenstein is also out today as the only main horror related title this week. I haven't heard to much about this one, but I'll probably check out soon as well. Marvel Comics 1986 film Howard the Duck is released for the first time on Bluray. I remember watching this as a kid and look forward to picking this up for sure. The most interesting release this week is Victoria, which was filmed in one shot and has some pretty good reviews. It's kinda pricey at the moment but may be a nice blind buy. The biggest retail release this week is The Peanuts Movie. There will be standard editions as well as a 3D combo pack, a giftset with a Snoopy Plushie doll and a 4K Bluray for those who are upgrading to a 4K player. So what will you be buying, renting or just skipping this week? Let us know in the comments. Also check out out Instagram page Here. We love the conversation and talking all things Horror.
