How are you guys enjoying this rain? I'm loving it! It's just about the best weather to enjoy some great movie in, particularly horror. And this weekend has some good options. ☺
Today is the official opening for the new movie A Cure for Wellness, which doesn't sound like pure horror but definitely qualifies for a trip to the theatre. This movie was recently under the public eye, not because of its impending release, but for a very different reason. Seems like a viral marketing campaign the was not executed in the best way... Read about it here. It's also got a two and a half hour run time, which may or may not be an appealing thing.
Also today, The Lure is unleashed on the Roxie Theatre. It will be playing there for about two weeks, so if you can't make it out the weekend you will have more chances to catch this one.
And finally, if you're closer to the east bay, you should check out the New Parkway Theatre's lineup for the weekend. They're bringing out some big titles, both new and known.
