January 10th 2017
Bluray Tuesday returns for its second week of 2017. Not many horror titles are released this week but we do have a few and they seem interesting. The Summoning starring Eric Roberts is the newest of the horror released today. I haven't heard a thing on this but may check it out in the near future. Severin releases 80's supernatural horror film The Survivor. This is the first time this is released on Bluray and it's packed with new bonus material. Scream Factory also releases an 80's film for the first time on Bluray titled Dead of Winter. Rounding out the week is Ben Affleck's crime thriller The Accountant which is pretty pricey for a day one purchase but it is from WB studios and those tend to drop in price quickly. I suspect this will be at least $14.99 in the coming weeks so I will be picking this one up a bit later. Deepwater Horizon is one I plan to pick up this week; I missed this in theaters but heard great things. And Target will carry a exclusive steelbook packaging too. Mr. Robot fans can pick up and catch up on its second season this week, just before the new season starts sometime this year. So what will you buy, rent or skip this week? let us know in the comments. Until next week!
