Bluray Tuesday: The Shape of Water, Children of The Corn: Runaway & Justice League

March 13th 2018

It's a big week for Bluray collectors, lots of new titles hit shelves today. My number one pickup today is The Shape of Water. This film blew me away and I look forward to revisiting it. This film also won Best picture at the Oscars this year so I'm sure it will sell well today. Oscar films take of this week with I,Tonya, Call Me by Your Name and the book inspired film The Disaster Artist all hitting stores as well. The unneeded sequel of the week goes to Children of The Corn: Runaway. I'm not quite sure what entry in the series this is but there are one too many Children of The Corn movies. I will still probably check out in the near future. Scream Factory releases 90's horror, The Ambulance for the first time on Bluray with a new scan and bonus features. The Ambulance is this week's blind buy for me and it looks like a cool film. The biggest release today is Justice League. DC is still trying to get it together with their live action films. So far Wonder Woman is the strongest film they have released in the shared universe. I'm looking forward to re watching it to give a more accurate review. Best Buy will carry and exclusive steelbook for the release and Target a 60 page book packaging. So what will you buy, rent or skip this week? Let us know in the comments below. Until next week!
