June 27th 2017
The final Bluray Tuesday of June has arrived. It feels this year is flying by. First up this week is The Belko Experiment. If you missed our review, check it out here. I really enjoyed Belko in the theater and look forward to adding it to my collection. Vestron Video continues its collector's edition line with The Unholy on bluray for the first time - this is a must buy for me. The biggest release this week is Saban's Power Rangers 2017 reboot. I actually really enjoyed this film and look forward to adding to the collection as well. It caters to old fans and adds cool twists for new fans to enjoy. I'm hoping for a sequel in the near future. Best Buy will carry exclusive packaging with art cards with their copies. If you are into steelbook packaging, Target will carry that edition exclusively. Scream Factory releases 70's horror film The Evictors for the first time on bluray. It's got an interesting premise sounds like a fun watch. Next release I'm interested in is 80's horror slasher called Victims!, also released for the first time on bluray. Trainspotting sequel T2 Trainspotting hits shelves along with a modern remake of the TV show Chips. So what will you buy, rent or skip this week? Let us know in the comments. Until next week!
