This week The Overlook Hour was lucky to have a returning guest in the Disney Dungeon, Sam Sharkey. He used to be the programmer of the lost Red Vic theatre on Haight Street, programs a lot of events and productions in San Francisco, and is currently the Cinema Arts coordinator of the Exploratorium.
We first heard Sam talking at a packed Terror Tuesday screening at the Alamo Drafthouse, introducing Demon Knight. His knowledge of and passion for film was obvious, and his ties to so many iconic San Francisco locations were awesome, so he had to be a guest. And after his first interview was lost in the infamous Dabbles Debacle, the guys had to have him on again.
