Happy free comic book day guys! Hopefully you checked out Treasures From the ComiCombs this past Wednesday and saw some titles you were excited to pick up today. I definitely did, but it also put me in the mood for some monsters, which is why this week's pastas will be creature themed. And the two actually go together very well.

Genre: Creatures
Author: zeref_0
Reading Time: 3 minutes 30 seconds
Synopsis: What's that sound?
Creepiness
(How Scary)
Pasta Quality
(How Well Written)
This story is all about atmosphere, which could be disappointing when you're in the mood for a monster story, but in this case it wasn't. It comes off as someone's genuine fear at night, so I'm sure there are some people who won't be into this fear of the dark tale, but there are also those who will in incredibly shaken.
Keep Watching
Genre: Creatures
Author: Torment
Reading Time: Under 5 minutes
Synopsis: What keeps you up at night?
Although reading the story and imagining your own version of the menace is always more effective, this comic version is amazing.

Creepiness
(How Scary)
Pasta Quality
(How Well Written)
This story unintentionally starts off at almost exactly where the previous one leaves off. And to its credit, the first comment under the story is someone sharing the comic adaptation that they were inspired to do after reading it.
