January 29th 2019
The last Bluray Tuesday of January has arrived and it's a big one! There is something for everyone in the lineup this week. First up is 2018's Suspiria a film that's creepy, dark and confusing... I definitely need to see this one again. This one's a number one pick up for me. Vinegar Syndrome is releasing many titles this week, all with new scans and for the first time on bluray: Splatter University, Uninvited, Cutting Class, Pets and There's Nothing Out There. All of these I look forward to seeing especially the slashers. Disney releases their latest live action film, The Nutcracker and The Four Realms. Best Buy will carry an exclusive steelbook case for this as well. DC's new original animated feature hits shelves this week titled Reign of The Supermen. This is a sequel to The Death of Superman animated film. Target will have an exclusive steelbook for both the Bluray and 4K editions. Rounding out the week is 90's film Screamers from Scream Factory as well as action drama film Hunter Killer. What are you looking forward to buying, renting or skipping this week?
