October 23rd 2018
Our favorite day of the week returns and it's filled with more great releases to add to our growing collections! A couple are perfect for the Halloween season. Vestron Video releases number 16 in their collector's series, Maximum Overdrive. This will have a new scan and bonus material. Scream Factory has a big week with a collector's edition of Creepshow, a deluxe edition of The Night of The Demons in a steelbook packaging with the Angela Neca action figure, and found footage horror The Devil's Doorway. Next up this week is Butterfly Kisses, one of my favorite films released this year. It has been doing a festival run and taking home an award almost every time it screens. I'd definitely recommend checking Butterfly Kisses out, it's a blind buy you won't regret. 2013's The Evil Dead has an even crazier and more intense director's cut that was never released to home video until this week we can own The Evil Dead remake unrated with both versions, theatrical, and director's cut included. Round out the week is psychedelic film Sorry To Bother You, Mamma Mia Here We Go Again and Patient Zero. What will you buy, rent or skip this week? Let us know in the comments. Until next week!
