Although Pet explores more than one sub-genre during its run time, it comes to a complete halt just when it feels like the story will transcend into some new territory. Honestly my only real complaint about Pet is that the score is distractingly bad and towards the end of the film it makes an already bad joke cringe worthy. I didn't like Pet but it's definitely not a bad film to stream, once." - 2.5 Stars

To keep in theme with Pet, I've decided to share a couple moments where people have resorted to caging the women they love. Even though this first story didn't actually happen, maybe it will someday... because it should.
According to reports, Monica Cruz, 17 of Washington Heights, was found in locked in a cage in her bedroom. Cruz was initially discovered by grandmother Odalys Cruz this evening after the teen had not responded to calls from her grandmother for several days. The grandmother had visited the home while both parents were at work to check in on her grand daughter … Reports indicates that the teen was locked in the cage for 3 days and was fed Purina Dog Chow and water from a bowl. Monica had not bathed for the duration of lock up and had taken bowel movements inside the cage which was lined with newspaper.
Detective Santiago spoke with Cruz’s parents to investigate the incident.
“Mr. Cruz explained to me that he found several photos on his daughter’s Facebook page that made her look like a dog. He asked some friends at his job about what it was and they told him that it was an app that gave the photos the effect. Mr. Cruz was not happy that his daughter would choose to look like a dog on the internet which prompted him to take extreme measures in an attempt to discipline his daughter,” said Detective Santiago.

A young girl was found caged and attempting to eat herself in a mobile home in Virginia, and cops say her parents are responsible.
The malnourished girl, believed to be either 5 or 6, was discovered in a crib that was converted into a makeshift cage after police arrived at the home in Gloucester County to investigate a burglary last week.
The girl's parents, Brian and Shannon Gore, were arrested and charged with felony child abuse. The mother was also charged with attempted capital murder.
The horrific find came as police investigated a robbery on April 17.
The girl's blond-hair was matted and filled with knots. She wore only a diaper and t-shirt and was eating flakes of dried skin on her body.
Brian Gore, 29, reportedly told police the girl had been kept in the cage since the summer.
"It was horrific. I don't know what else to say," Lt. Scott Little of the Sheriff's Department told Virginia's Daily Press on Friday.
"They seemed like nice people," neighbor Tim Hudnall told the newspaper. He noted he had seen the baby boy, but never saw a girl with the Gores in the six years they've been neighbors.
"He was really a nice guy," Brian Gore's ex-girlfriend, Sandy, told WTKR 3 News in Norfolk. "He went to church and everything."
The couple was later given a total of 30 years in prison. I personally would have sent them to the dungeon for eternity or summed them to the chopping block.
