Here's what the citizens of the Overlook Theatre had to say:
The Berkeley Blazer - "An ingenious tying of Poe's stories together. Convincing acting and gore at just the right moments hold the tension and terror up." - 4 Stars
Lord Battle - "Whenever a role calls for Edgar A. Poe they need to just get Jeffrey Combs, Jeffrey Combs is Edgar A. Poe. It's also good to see Stuart Gordon give love to another classic American author, now he's just got to tackle Robert E. Howard." - 5 Stars
Huntress - "Awesome Edgar Allen Poe, it's over way too soon." - 5 Stars
Brewha - "Stuart Gordon does a great job sucking you into Poe's twisted mind." - 5 Stars
Book Wyrm - "As an animal lover I hated this movie, as a literature lover I liked it. While interesting, the animal violence made it hard to watch." - 2 1/2 Stars
The Great Hornito - *Spoiler* - "A great depiction of Edgar Allen Poe. My favorite part was when he hung Pluto, that was really satisfying." - 3 Stars
The Overlook Theatre Final Rating*
First I'd like to thank Nathan Thomas Milliner for letting me cover his awesome art in text and logo's. The Masters of Horror release of "The Black Cat" had such a bad cover and I happened to be reviewing it just as Nathan released this new Black Cat art for his upcoming art book. The timing was just too perfect and if you like horror movies you need to checkout his work. His website is Rebal Rouser Art.com but you can always find him here on Facebook.
*Based on the star ratings turned in by character reviewers, others viewed and got to "Dislike" or "Like" but that does not effect the rating.
