February 5th 2019
The first Bluray Tuesday of February has arrived and the month is off to a pretty good start! First up is the third in the Cloverfield series, The Cloverfield Paradox. This was released on Netflix after the Superbowl last year, and now it's getting a physical release for us collectors who want it on the shelf with the first two. Next up is a Syfy film that was also released last year called You Might Be The Killer. This film caught me by surprise. I really enjoyed it, especially getting to see Alyson Hannigan who played Willow on Buffy The Vampire Slayer in a horror film. Scream Factory releases Mermaid: Lake of The Dead. This ghost story / mermaid film is also one that surprised me as to how much I enjoyed it. I will definitely add this to my collection some time soon. From the studio that brought you The Minions and Despicable Me rebooted The Grinch story and that hits selves today. Best Buy will carry an exclusive steelbook packaging for this. With Target's exclusive includes a storybook. Rounding out the week is Poetic Justice for the first time on Bluray, Widows and The Girl in The Spider's Web. What will you buy, rent or just skip this week? Let us know in the comments. Until next week!
