Happy Friday everyone! There are some exciting things screening in the bay area this weekend, two of which played during San Francisco International Film Fest and that I've been hoping would be back. We saw the first one, Under the Shadow, both times it played and reviewed it. But we missed the other movie that was playing and can finally rectify that by seeing The Greasy Strangler! Both are playing at the Alamo Drafthouse with multiple showtimes. This weekend also brings us one of the first Halloween flavored events of the month at the Roxie Theatre. Vampire costumes are encouraged for those who plan to attend the Talkies Halloween Special tonight!
And if you're in the mood for other Halloween events this weekend, check out the list I posted earlier this week here.
