May 24th 2016
Our favorite day of the week returns. If you haven't pre-ordered from Scream Factory and received your early copy, Manhunter is out today with new bonus features and artwork not found on the previous bluray release of this classic film. I'm looking forward to re watching this sometime soon. Arrow Video releases two 70's cult horror thrillers in a collectible set titled The Killer Dames. It includes the films The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave, and The Red Queen Kills Seven Times. Those are the only horror related releases this week. The sequel to 2001's comedy Zoolander arrives in stores today if you are looking for a decent laugh. Target is carrying an exclusive slipcover and bonus disc for this release. Disney releases The Finest Hours, which is based on a true story of the 1952 US Coast Guard rescue of the SS Pendleton. What will you be buying, renting or just skipping this week? Let us know in the comments, and also don't forget to follow our Instagram page here, for updates on what is posted, screenings in the bay area and more. We also love the conversation and talking all things horror. Until next week.
