Screenings in the Bay (Friday to Sunday): Summer of '84, Akira: The Movie, Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich

It's a short and sweet list for this weekend's screenings, but there is a surprise hidden below. Well, not hidden exactly, but it turns out that Summer of '84 is screening in the city after all! Tonight and tomorrow, at the Alamo Drafthouse, but it's in a pretty small theatre, so get your tickets soon if you plan on going! All of the art for this movie has been amazing, and I'm excited to start the weekend off with a beer and a new horror movie in a comfy theatre chair.

Another surprise: Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich is screening at the AMC in Antioch, which is not a particularly unreasonable distance from the city. So if you want to see some killer toy action on the big screen this weekend, you know where to look.
