The last Bluray Tuesday of May has arrived and it brings us a light week on new releases. Annihilation tops my pickup list this week. I missed it in theaters and I've heard nothing but great things about this film. Best Buy will carry the 4k Ultra HD version of the film. Severin releases limited edition copies of Zombie 3 and Zombie 4 with a cd a new scan and more! I've never seen these but look forward to checking them out. Shocking Dark is also released from Severin and if you buy these three as a bundle at their website, you get exclusive slip covers for a limited time. The Shocking Dark slip is extremely unofficial and may cease to exist as soon as they ship this batch, so they will be super rare. Next up today is Found Footage film The Road Movie and if you missed our review check it out here. Only on the Epic Pictures Group site, and similar to Terrifier is The Lodgers, a supernatural horror, period romance film with a discounted price. Rounding out this week is Bloodsuckers from Outer Space from Vinegar Syndrome and Haunted the complete series from Kino Lorber. Haunted I remember from back in 2002 when it aired after Buffy The Vampire Slayer on UPN. I remember a few episodes but do want to check it out again. So what will you buy, rent or skip this week? Zombie 3: Amazon - $34.99
When a terrorist's body, infected with a stolen chemical, is recovered
by the US military, the corpse is cremated, unintentionally releasing
the virus/bacteria into the atmosphere over a small island. Soon the
infected populace mutate into flesh-hungry zombies, and a trio of
soldiers on leave must team up with a group of tourists and board
themselves up in an abandoned hotel as they try to fend off the agile
and aggressive living dead.
Zombie 4: Amazon - $34.99
On a verdant tropical island where, 20 years before, a voodoo priest
turned all of its inhabitants into the living dead, the only non-zombie
descendent of the island return to her homeland with a band of beer
guzzling mercenaries. Soon, the mercenaries find themselves face to face
with some rather energetic and hungry zombies while, across the island,
a team of scientists unwittingly create even more of the flesh eating
corpses.

murderous creatures.
Haunted (The Complete Series): Amazon - $25.99
Once happily married and the rising star of the Seattle police force,
Frank Taylor's guilt over the kidnapping of his son destroyed his
marriage and cost him his job. Two years later, now a private
investigator specializing in finding missing persons, Frank is shot by a
suspect whom he in turn kills. On the operating table Frank is declared
dead, but then is miraculously revived. Afterwards, however, Frank
begins to have strange episodes. He hears unusual noises and sees people
who aren't there, including the suspect he killed, and realizes that
he's still connected to the world of the dead. Frank is desperately
frightened, until he comes to realize that his hauntings can help him
solve cases and save lives, and may ultimately help him solve the
mystery of what happened to his son.

mysterious Rachel, who in turn begins to break the rules set out by The
Lodgers. The consequences pull Rachel into a deadly confrontation with
her brother - and with the curse that haunts them.
