March 6th 2018
The first Bluray Tuesday of March has arrived and it sets the tone for this months releases! It's gonna be a good month for Bluray collectors with many retailer exclusives. First up is the third in the Thor movie series Thor Ragnarok. Ragnarok was a huge surprise for me. I went in with low expectations and was blown away. It's definitely in my top 5 Marvel Universe films. Best Buy will carry an exclusive steelbook for its release. Only at Target, you can get an exclusive digibook packaging. Next up is from Scream Factory just in time for its sequel, The Strangers Prey at Night, which hits theaters Friday, The Strangers. It will include new cover art, scan and bonus features. Scream Factory also releases Fangs of The Living Dead for the first time on Bluray today. This one is one I haven't heard of but it looks like it may be entertaining. Another classic I watched when I was younger, The Dark Crystal is being re-released for its anniversary. This film is upscaled in a 4K resolution and Best Buy is carrying an exclusive exclusive steelbook for a limited time. So what will you buy, rent or skip this week? Let us know in the comments.
