Screenings in the Bay (Friday to Sunday): Gremlins Rule Breakers Movie Party, Another Wolfcop, Time Tunnel Toy Fair


Are you guys getting ready for the holiday season? Because I know a place that might be a lot of help with that, and it happens to be this weekend...


Yes, the San Jose Super Toy and Collectable Show is back at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds this Saturday! The special guests this time is a very familiar and prolific horror icon, Bill Moseley! And when you've done enough paroozing, why not catch a movie?

The Roxie Theatre is Yorgos Lanthimos themed for the next couple of days and it's all starting tonight with a double feature of his lesser celebrated films. Then, The Killing if a Sacred Deer will take over Saturday and Sunday.

This is also the weekend of the Gremlins Rule Breakers Movie Party screenings, which will be happening at select theatres. We're actually getting two at the San Francisco Alamo Drafthouse, even though one is already sold out...

And last but not least, tonight Another Wolfcop is screening for one night only at the Roxie Theatre! 9pm, be there!

The father, the mother and their three kids live at the outskirts of a city. There is a tall fence surrounding the house. The kids have never been outside that fence. They are being reared in the manner that their parents deem appropriate, without any influence from the outside world. The only person allowed to enter the house is Christina. She works as a security guard at the father's business. The father arranges her visits to the house in order to appease the sexual urges of the son. The whole family is fond of her, especially the eldest daughter. One day Christina gives her as a present a headband that has stones that glow in the dark and asks for something in return.
