What a weekend! I don't know why, but it seems like all the theatres that have been quiet on the horror front decided to screen all their favorites. Take the New Parkway Theatre for example. They're showing to classics back to back. And in a pleasant turn of events, the Super Shangri-La Show double feature for this week is being held on Saturday as part of the Balboa's Beer Movies series. That means your ticket includes a can of beer, as well as a cool double feature.

Most noteworthy is "Leatherface" who is the bloke who wields the power saw and has a penchant for human flesh. Though the film did not enjoy immediate success at the box office, it has since gathered a hefty cult following. Directed by Tobe Hooper, Texas Chainsaw Massacre is considered by many to be groundbreaking work in the genre of horror.
