Screenings in the Bay (Monday to Friday): Another Hole in the Head, Horrific Women, We Are X

We're just one week away from Halloween, and bay area horror fans are in for a crazy week filled with festival and events! Genre films are taking over all of our favorite theatres, with several long awaited titles finally starting their theatrical runs in the next couple of days. The second half of this week will mark the beginning of the 13th annual Another Hole in the Head Film Fest, which will be taking place in the underground theatre of the New People building on Post Street in San Francisco. The fest will begin this Thursday the 27th and run through November 9th, all the while adding horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and exploitation films to our bay area lineup.

Following the first night of Another Hole in the Head, the Roxie Theatre will be kicking off their Horrific Women lineup with a 35mm print of Near Dark. The celebration of female horror directors will run through the weekend.
