Starting Friday, San Francisco is going to get a lot busier... because it's the first day of the San Francisco Comic Con! It will be at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, in the northern part of downtown.
The convention will run from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th, and will of course have signings, panels and a vendor's room. But it will also have indie gaming rooms, virtual reality gaming rooms, and screenings, which I was a little surprised to find out. Find the full list of events here.
Some of the celebrities scheduled to be there and sign autographs are:
Ian McDiarmid
(Star Wars, Sleepy Hollow, The Awakening)
Krysten Ritter
(Jessica Jones, Breaking Bad, Veronica Mars)
There is also a long list of artists who will be attending, including one of my personal favorite artists. Here's a couple of the names on the schedule:

Weekend and day passes are still available, and kids under 12 do not need a ticket. Get yours here.
Let's get out and support this convention, hopefully it will lead to more events like it taking place in San Francisco, and not hours away.
