Bluray Tuesday!

April 7th 2015

Happy Bluray Tuesday! This week again is very light on the horror front but in the next few weeks we will see lots of new and old catalog released on bluray from The Babadook next week to A Girl Walks Alone At Night in two weeks. The main release I am looking forward to is Ryan Reynolds in The Voices. Reynolds isn't the best actor but the story seems interesting, weird and so different that I may just like it. Many reviews have been mixed to mostly good which makes me more excited to check The Voices out.

The Voices: Amazon - $14.99

Jerry Hickfang, a lovable but disturbed factory worker who yearns for attention from a woman in accounting. When their relationship takes a sudden, murderous turn, Jerry's evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog lead him down a fantastical path where he ultimately finds salvation.
I heard many good things about this film and look forward to seeing it soon. Interesting premise to this film as well. Does he listen to his cat and become a killer or his dog and not be but be normal.

The Voices (Blu-ray)

A Most Violent Year: Amazon - $16.99

A thriller set in New York City during the winter of 1981, statistically one of the most violent years in the city's history, and centered on a the lives of an immigrant and his family trying to expand their business and capitalize on opportunities as the rampant violence, decay, and corruption of the day drag them in and threaten to destroy all they have built.

Home Sweet Hell: Amazon - $12.99

Don Champagne seems to have it all but when his wife, Mona, learns of Don's affair with a pretty new salesgirl, Mona will stop at nothing to maintain their storybook life.
New Dark Comedy out this week that I heard nothing about. I may check out on Netflix or something when it comes out there.
