The Adventures of Edward and Lorraine Warren

Since I'm going to see "The Conjuring" tonight I thought it be fun to point out some of the real adventures Ed and Lorraine Warren went on. First I'd like to state that Edward Warren Miney (1926-2006) severed in WWII (on a ship that sank) and also as a police officer, he later went on to be a Paranormal Investigator, Demonologist, author, and lecturer. His wife Lorraine Warren states she is a clairvoyant and light trance medium. If you would like to know more on exactly what a "Light trance medium" is check here. This paranormal team has been involved in a lot over the years and are quite renown, he's a few movies and stories they inspired.

The Amityville Horror house

Although they had nothing really to do with this story they did fight claims that it was a hoax which increased the medias attention.

People magazine had this to say about a trial that the Warrens were involved in. The incident is called the Connecticut Demon Murder.

This is a book written by the Warrens about a werewolf demon they exorcised

"The Haunted" is based on the Smurl family that the Warrens said were living with 3 spirits and a demon.

Another film inspired by a Warren story

"The Conjuring" is about the Warrens visit to the Perron family farm house.

Here is a 45min video of Andrea Perron (The real person) revisiting her farm.

This is a "Paper Conjuring".

Here's a cool prank set up to advertise "The Conjuring"
