Bluray Tuesday Featuring: The Brain, Serenity & Miss Bala

The last Bluray Tuesday of April arrives. This week starts off with The Brain released from Scream Factory for the first time on Bluray. I actually liked this film and look forward to re watching it on Bluray. Drama thriller Serenity is next up to hit shelves this week starring Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey. I missed this one in theaters and wanna check it out, I've heard mixed reviews. Action thriller Miss Bala is next up this week. Miss Bala I haven't heard much about but may be interesting. This is actually a remake of the 2011 film of the same name. Rounding out the week is a 4K restoration of Hannibal, Grandmother's House, Darkroom & The Corruption of Chris Miller from Vinegar Syndrome and Death Warmed Up from Severin. Dr. Blake runs a TV show called "Independent Thinkers", which is sort of a Scientology-like self-help/religion program. But he's not making his audience think any more independently - with the help of an alien organism he calls The Brain, he's using brainwashing and mind control. The 'Owner House' has been vacant for several years because of its very dark history but with the recent series of murders it has been taken to the next level. A family who just moved in has been murdered causing the curiosity of a group of friends to get the best of them. Deciding to break in and investigate with hand held cameras, would be the worst decision of their fun filled night. The terrifying and suspenseful footage has been edited for the film 'Unlisted Owner'.
