September 4th 2018
This year seems to be flying by, because the first Bluray Tuesday of September is already here! First up out this week is one of my favorites of the year, Hereditary. If you missed our review you can check it out here. I highly recommend it. Ghost Stories is one I've been hearing great things about and it will hit stores today from Scream Factory. The long awaited release of Found Footage 3D finally gets a Bluray release this week that includes both the 3D and 2D versions. Also included is retro red / blue 3D glasses. With Halloween around the corner, Disney releases anniversary editions of both Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas on bluray. Best Buy will have their exclusive steelbook packaging for each title and Target a digi-book version. Both of these are classics I re-watch every year and these steelbooks are awesome. The blind buy of the week for me is Beast. The story sounds super interesting and I haven't heard much about it but I hope it's a good drama thriller. Rounding out the week is samurai action / drama Bloody Spear at Mount Fuji from Arrow Video, Dance movie Honey 4, the long running 13th season of Supernatural and Adrift. What will you buy, rent, or skip this week? Let us know in the comments. Until next week!

team of great directors, including Yasujrio Ozu, Hirochi Shimizu and
Daisuko Ito, assisted Uchida with his remarkable post-war comeback film.
It's an affable samurai road movie with a focus on unglamorus

Tokaido highway. Much of the film is played as comedy, making the
brilliantly staged violent climax all the more shocking.
